Repair weather-worn roofs
Been a rough winter on your roof? If you want to add value to your home and make it more livable, start with a roof inspection.

The roof of your home is one of the most important parts of the house. Maintaining the integrity of your roof system is critical to keeping your family safe from the elements and protecting your investment.

We can refer you to prescreened professionals who can repair or remodel your roof. They can also show you how to update the look and architectural design of your home. Let us help you weather the elements!

Get your deck ready for summer - or add one now!
Trex or pressure-treated? Redwood or cedar? Spa or multi-level? Few places welcome spring as well as a deck. But finding a competent contractor can be almost as difficult as designing a deck that suits your needs and meets local zoning codes. Contact us for local professionals who can advise you as well as build a quality deck.

If you already have a deck, preserve its natural beauty with a waterproofing sealer once a year. Just be sure the surface to be sealed is clean, dry and porous. For a new deck built with pressure-treated lumber, let the deck thoroughly dry before preserving.

Why seal your deck? The sun's ultraviolet rays penetrate the wood less than 1/64 of an inch, which causes only cosmetic damage. But cycles of wetting and drying cause wood to expand and contract, leading to cracking and warping.

If wood stays moist, fungus can grow, rotting the wood or producing mildew. Then, you may need a power washer to remove the mildew before sealing your deck. Make sure you have the deck sanded and loose nails repaired before you seal it, too.

If your deck is built with Trex, you can paint or stain your deck once it fades, which usually takes 6 to 12 weeks. But you don't have to seal a Trex deck to protect it. Whatever your deck, we've built a team of companies to get yours ready.
